In Malaga (Costa del Sol, Spain) you can choose between two Spanish language schools:

- Malaga Centro is located next to the garden of the cathedral (in the centre of the lively social life of Malaga), at only a 10 minutes' walking distance from the beach, in a stunning 19th century building with 6 bright and ample classrooms full of light and life.
Surrounded by monuments, restaurants and cafeterias where the students can have breakfast with their teachers, or taste the delicious spanish "tapas", or get involved in the bussle of the social and nightlife (the famous "movida") of Malaga in its terraces, pubs, cinemas, theatres, ...

- Malaga beach is located in Pedregalejo, one of the city's most attractive and fashionable areas in the east of Malaga. The district grew up in the 1950's and became a favourite refuge for rich families who were looking for a quiet atmosphere far away from hectic urban life and city centre noise. Our school of Spanish is housed in a beautiful building, built in the 1950's in the harmonic Andalusian style. You can study in pleasant surroundings with generously-dimensioned class rooms and studies. The building is surrounded by an impressive garden filled with Yucca palms, lemon trees, date palms and rubber trees, which contribute to a relaxed atmosphere and provide appreciated shade during the hot summer months. And the most important thing: just 100 metres away the sea and the wide expanse of beach offer sun and bathing...

Our Spanish courses in both schools in Málaga are accredited with the CEELE, a main quality certification for Spanish as a foreign language and by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes (Malaga beach).

Costa del Sol is a 150 km long coastline bordered by calm waters, a permanent blue sky, and beautiful beaches on one side, and hills, mountains, lakes, forests and traditional villages, towns and historical cities on the other. 

Málaga, the "city of paradise", as Nobel prize winner Vicente Aleixandre called it, is the capital of this lovely region. It enjoys an extraordinary mild climate, with an average temperature throughout the year of about 22º C, and 330 sunny days...

It was founded by the Phoenicians, and has been a Roman colony and a Moorish city. All of this is reflected in its many monuments like the roman theatre, the arab Alcazaba, and its museums. 

Málaga is also the Andalusian city with the most cosmopolitan character, which offers you sporting facilities of all kinds.

There are yacht harbours and sailing clubs along the coast. Water skiing is also very popular as well as windsurfing. On almost every beach you can hire windsurfing equipment and there are schools for those who wish to learn.

Tennis has become one of the favourite sports in Málaga, so there are plenty of courts. Costs of court rental and tuition are very reasonable, and equipment is available for hire. Also is very popular to practice squash.

The Costa del Sol is Europe's best golf centre. There are fourteen golf courses, which are open throughout the year.

All along the coast there are numerous riding stables where horses are available for long excursions into the mountains for groups or individuals, or for a ride along the sandy beaches at dawn.

A wide range of popular festivities like bullfights, flamenco music, Holy Week processions, the August fair, etc. will show you the open and lively character of the people. In the numerous bars and restaurants you can taste the typical Spanish food and join the Spaniards in their daily life.

We fully realize that not all learning takes place in the classroom and that a language course should not only consist of lessons. Therefore our school offers a varied and exciting social activity programme for the students.

Our Spanish language school organizes meetings where you can practice your Spanish in a relaxed atmosphere, and have the opportunity to talk to students from other countries.

Theatre and cinema visits, concerts, talks and discussions on special aspects of life in the host country, visits to museums and monuments and excursions to other cities will introduce you to Spain and its people.

Our students also have books and daily newspapers at their disposal in the students common room. In our video library they can find a rich variety of programmes: movies, news, documentaries about different aspects of Spanish life etc..

In our afternoon dancing course you can learn the flamenco dance sevillanas, thus participating in one of the most popular expressions of Spanish life. This course is optional but included in the course fees in Malaga 1.

If you want you also can learn or practice playing flamenco guitar with a specialized teacher.

During the weekends we offer different excursions to different cities in Spain. The excursions are accompanied by guides that give tours of each city. One day excursions are run on Saturday or Sunday.

Being right in the centre of Andalusía there are close at hand:

- Granada and its Alhambra 
- The Sierra Nevada with its skiing facilities 
- The Mezquita of Córdoba
- The Giralda of Sevilla 
and just across the Strait of Gibraltar there is the magic of Africa.

Accommodation in a Spanish family
One of the best ways to get to know a country and its language is by living with one of our carefully selected Spanish families. In Malaga 1 students can choose between single and double room, half-board and full-board. In Malaga 2: double rooms are only for two persons coming together. Your family can consist of a family with or without children, an older couple, a single person or a Spanish student. You share the kitchen, bathroom and sitting room with the family. Use of the kitchen by agreement with the family.
 

Accommodation in shared apartments
An alternative to family accommodation is living in fully equipped apartments, in single or double rooms, together with other students, enjoying privacy and independance. The apartments are near the schools (max. 15 Min.).
 

Accommodation in own apartments
For our students who prefer complete independence and would like also some more comfort we offer own apartments for one or two persons. 
These apartments are close to school, not more than at a 20 minutes' walking distance from the school, and also completely equipped.

 

Schools residence (Malaga 2)
The school residence, built in the late 40's with the magnificent andalucian style, is very well located, 2 minutes away from our Spanish School and 100 m away from de beach.

It´s within walking distance from the supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants. Students will have privacy in their rooms and can mix with people from around the world in the kitchen or lounge. The house has a big porch used as a terrace, private balconies and Gardens filled with palms and mandarin trees.

The house is split into 9 bedrooms, 4 single, 4 double and 1 triple. Every student has a single bed, night table, desk and wardrove. The house kitchen is full equipped with electric cooker, 3 refrigerators, microwave, coffee machine, crockery, and utensils, dinind room. Laundry facilities and student lounge are available. Guests are responsible for tidying their own bedrooms and washing their dishes. There is a cleaning service available for the sharing areas and for those students who want to pay for it (rooms). Blankets and bedspreads are provided but the students must bring their own sheets, pilow cases and towels, but the student can always buy a bed set in the Administration office.
The School Residence is a non smoking building. This accommodation is likely to be full in high season (June-October), so book early to have the best rooms and avoid inconvenients!
