 Our Spanish language school is situated in the centre of Denia, in one of the most frequented streets, close to the local market and at the foot of the castle.
It is a small, open school which runs Spanish language and culture courses throughout the year. We also organize foreign language courses for Spanish students, creating ideal opportunities to exchange languages and make friends.
Our team consists of young Spanish teachers with both university qualifications and appropiate teaching experience.
Courses are orientated towards communication and action: the main priority is effective communication and correct situational usage. Thanks to its careful programme which covers all the aspects of the language a great number of different subjects are dealt with in an intensive manner and so maximum progress is guaranteed.
Methodology used by our teachers to achieve these objectives is communicative, participative and direct, where the student with the teacher´s help is the principal actor and not a passive subject.
The number of students per class, between 3 and 8, reinforces this methodology and makes the student-teacher relationship close and fluent.

 Denia is one of the most beautiful resort towns on the Spanish Mediterranean coast and lies on the northern edge of the Costa Blanca 100 km south of Valencia and 95 km north of Alicante. This town with a population of 27.000 is situated in the foothills of the Montgó Massif which tower 750 metres above sea level.
For sun lovers and water sport enthusiasts alike, Denia offers a wide variety of attractions: clear turquoise-coloured sea, endless sandy beaches, amazing rock formations, hidden coves and impressive cliffs. In addition, the climate is sunny almost the entire year round: approximately 320 sunny days per year, a very mild winter (up to 20º C in January) and a pleasantly warm summer (on average 29º C).
Denia has a fascinating history. For over 5000 years different races have fought and mixed here: Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, Moors and Christians. They have all left a mark on the character of the people and a wealth of archaeological and historical treasures.
Denia consists of a harbour quarter, Baix la Mar, an historical centre, Les Roques, the new part and the beach. The old town is well preserved and a typical Mediterranean atmosphere is felt through the white washed façades, the arched doorways and the cast iron window bars. In the evening as one wanders down the narrow streets, one encounters the many beautiful squares and the countless bars, cafés and taverns. Towering over the old town, the Castle, a Moorish medieval fortress, dominates the skyline. The town prospers from fishing, agriculture, handicraft, trade and of course tourism.

Don´t forget that Denia has nearly 20 km. of beach, so many watersports can be found here.
Please note that entrance fees and trips are not included in the course fees. Further information regarding local events and festivities is available from the school.
 You can book accommodation in shared apartments with other students (available only in summer!) or with Spanish families. In both cases you may choose either a double room or single room (with supplement).
1) Spanish families are selected by us carefully. The price includes half pension (breakfast and one meal).
2) Comfortable and spacious apartments are shared with other participants. All apartments have fully equipped communal kitchens, bathrooms with hot water and sitting rooms. Many have a washing machine, patio or balcony. Bedding is provided, but bath towels are not.
3) If you prefer, you may also book accommodation in a hotel, guesthouse or separate holiday apartment.
The course can also be booked independently without the use of accommodation. Alternatively, those who wish to accompany students may also book accommodation.
