At our spanish language school, we use the latest methodology to guarantee effective learning through direct, communicative teaching of the language, using Spanish in the classroom from day one, and supported by all the latest teaching aids.

There is a maximum of 8 students per class, which allows for constant teacher-student interaction. In class, we often draw on situations from everyday life, thus helping the student to relate the academic work directly to their life outside the classroom.

The teachers are all trained professionals and have all completed a specific training course of 105 hours for teaching Spanish to foreigners.

Our Spanish language courses in Cordoba are organized according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe).

Daily: 4 lessons á 55 minutes
Timetable: Monday to Friday 9.00-13.00

This is the most popular course among our students as it allows them to combine intensive language training
with enough time for leisure activities.
The course is divided into two sections: grammar and communication.
The grammar focuses on introducing new concepts and practices, while the communication part focuses on
assisting the student with practicing speech, listening, reading and writing.
The minimum length is 2 weeks (we recommend students to stay at least 3 weeks to get the most out of their stay). Students with previous knowledge of Spanish may begin any Monday of the year. Beginner courses start at the beginning of each month (please refer to the starting dates given on page Prices). Please note that if there isnt any other student of the same level on the starting date of the student, we will provide him/her with 2 private lessons per day instead of 4 classes in group.

Daily: 6 lessons

This is an intensive programme of private lessons which combined with General Intensive group classes is ideal for students who want to improve their linguistic skills in the shortest time possible. Minimum one weeks study.

This preparatory course leads to the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) run by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. The exams are set at three levels: Starter, Intermediate and Superior. To enrol for the exam at Starter level, a student should have at least Pre-intermediate level (A2), for the Intermediate exam they should have a minimum of Intermediate (B1) and to go in for the Diploma Superior, they should be at least at the beginning of Superior level (C1) in Spanish Language. The DELE exams take place all over Spain and at over 100 venues abroad, and are held in May and November every year.

This course is specially designed for adults who want to make the most of a two-week stay in Cordoba to combine learning Spanish with an in-depth knowledge of the culture, history, monuments and traditions of one of the most beautiful and best preserved historical cities in Andalucia. Cordoba has been declared a World Heritage city by the UNESCO.
There is a complete programme of activities both inside and outside the city, with talks to prepare you for the places you are actually going to visit.
The guided tours follow the trail of the citys historical monuments, left by the civilizations which have populated Cordoba over the centuries (Romans, Moslems, Jews and Christians) and the old Jewish Quarter (La Judería), with its fascinating network of narrow streets which take us back to bygone days.
The guided excursions are to Seville, and to white villages in the province, where you will be able to visit the Montilla wine cellars, the pottery workshops in La Rambla, the museum of olive oil in Baena, the castle and village of Almodovar and the ruined city-palace of Medina Azahara.

Everyone knows about the Mediterranean diet with its rich variety, natural ingredients, delicious flavours and great benefits for your health. This has always been, the major influence on Andalusian cuisine, and the many local variations found here in Cordoba.
This course will teach you all about the best-known dishes - how to prepare them yourself, the ingredients, the history behind each dish and the health benefits they bring.
The students take an active part in the cooking under the expert guidance of a qualified cook, who goes through the recipe and the ingredients step by step, adding their own top tips, before everyone finally tastes the dishes prepared that day, washed down with a good bottle of wine.

The Cooking Course, combined with our intensive Spanish classes (20 classes /week), lasts two weeks and is 12 hours in length, with two three-hour classes given on two different days per week.

Flamenco dance & Flamenco guitar

Our Spanish language school in Córdoba works with the most renown Academies of Flamenco dance and guitar. We will assist students interested in taking Flamenco lessons by handling course registration, but also will recommend the best programme that fits your needs.

The dance classes are eminently practical, and you will be able to learn some of the most important Flamenco dances during your stay in the school. You will work on everything from body posture and arm position and (depending on your level) advanced choreography set to the different genres of Flamenco (soleá, seguiriyas, bulerías and so on). You will also learn how to keep rhythms and off-beats, which are so crucial to learning Flamenco dance.

If what you like is Flamenco guitar, this course is ideal for learning the different styles: solo guitar, song accompaniment on the guitar and dance accompaniment on the guitar. The classes are given in a wide range of levels.
