Our teaching methods are based on the communicative approach. Special emphasis is placed on conversation, so that students can make themselves understood in Spanish right from the start. We think it is essential for the students to actively participate in the lessons; to achieve this main goal, grammar exercises and vocabulary work are combined with oral practice and pronunciation drills: group work, discussions, role playing, games, literary & journalistic texts,
audio & video recordings of real material...

Some lessons are held out of the school, so that the students can face real situations: at the market, at the travel agency...

In order to start lessons right away on the first day of the course, the students must complete a placement test before their arrival in Santiago.

There are 7 levels of General Language courses:

● Beginner (A1)
● Elementary (A2)
● Lower-intermediate (B1)
● Intermediate (B2)
● Upper-intermediate (C1)
● Advanced (C2)
● Proficiency

Students who attend classes regularly will receive a certificate of attendance stating the duration and level of their course.

Groups have an average of 5 students and a maximum of 8.
● 1 lesson = 45 minutes.
● One-to-one hours = 60 minutes.

You can choose from:

COURSE 20h
20 group lessons per week. There is a ½ hour coffee break with the teachers every
day.

COURSE 25h
25 group lessons per week. Same structure as the Standard Course 20, but with 5
extra lessons per week, focused on improving oral communication.

COURSE 25 + 5h
25 group lessons + 5 one-to-one hours (x 60 minutes), dedicated to work on those aspects of the language that need to be reinforced or to improve oral communication skills. This course is approved as Bildungsurlaub.

COURSE 25 + 15h
25 group lessons + 15 one-to-one hours (x 60 minutes), dedicated to work on those aspects of the language that need to be reinforced or to improve oral communication skills. This course is approved as Bildungsurlaub.

ONE-TO-ONE COURSE
From 2 to 6 hours of class per day (x 60 minutes) in order to focus only on the students needs. In the first lesson, the teacher assesses the students abilities, and together they plan the objectives of the course to maximize the progress.
